TeamForge is an ALM platform for traditional and hybrid software development, delivery, and collaboration. The tool reduces IT support costs and drives standardization and IP reuse. By integrating TeamForge with other tools in the software lifecycle, teams can build an integrated pipeline from planning through deployment to deliver high-quality products to customers at a faster pace.
OpsHub Integration Manager supports the integration of TeamForge with 60+ ALM, DevOps, ITSM, and CRM systems. In this video, we will showcase how OpsHub facilitates the integration of TeamForge with Aras.
The product team in Aras creates a new requirement and fills in details such as title, description, status, and priority. Once all required details are filled, the Product Team saves the requirement.
Now in TeamForge, the requirement created in Aras is reflected here along with the status and priority. The development team adds a comment and saves it.
Back in Aras, under the requirement, the Product Team can view the comment added by the Development Team in TeamForge and will add a comment and change the status to “Approved,” enabling seamless bidirectional collaboration between the Product Team and the Development Team. The status change made to the ticket in Aras has successfully been synchronized in TeamForge. The comment added in Aras is also reflected here.
In TeamForge, the development Team will start breaking down the requirements into tasks. The development team adds the first task, gives it a title and description, and then clicks on “Submit”. The team goes ahead and adds another task and gives it a title and description.
Back in Aras, the product team gets complete visibility into the tasks added in TeamForge. The product team can drill down into tasks to view details. Both tasks have successfully linked with the previously created requirement.
Now in TeamForge, the development team will complete code changes and then commit them against a task. Here, the development team has created a Git repository to maintain the codebase for this project. It then uploads a new file and checks it in against the given task ID.
In Aras, the product team can view commits to see changes happening in the codebase. The commit in Aras is also linked to the respective task for complete traceability.
In TeamForge, as work is completed, the development team closes both the tasks. The team opens the tasks in a new tab and changes their status to “Closed.” It also closes the requirement.
Finally, back in Aras, the requirement and the tasks also reflect the updated status as “Done.”
That completes the demo. Thanks for watching.
