TeamForge is an ALM platform for traditional and hybrid software development, delivery, and collaboration. It reduces IT support costs and drives standardization and IP reuse. By integrating TeamForge with other tools in the software lifecycle, teams can build an integrated pipeline from planning through deployment to deliver high-quality products to customers at a faster pace.
OpsHub Integration Manager supports the integration of TeamForge with 60+ ALM, DevOps, ITSM, and CRM systems. In this video, we will showcase how OpsHub facilitates the integration of TeamForge with IBM DOORS.
The business analyst in IBM DOORS creates a new requirement, gives it a title and description, and saves it. The requirement created in DOORS is reflected as an Epic here in TeamForge.
In DOORS, the status is set as “New.” The project manager in TeamForge changes the status, which gets synchronized in DOORS. The project manager also adds a comment and saves it.
Here in DOORS, both the status and the comment have successfully been synchronized. The business analyst in DOORS now adds comments and saves them. The same comments are reflected here in TeamForge.
The project manager in TeamForge creates two user stories and links them to the Epic using a parent-child relationship. The project manager creates the first user story, gives it a title and description, and saves it. Under dependencies, the project manager establishes a parent-child relationship between the user story and the epic.
Upon completion, the project manager navigates back to create the second user story. User stories created in TeamForge now reflect as sub-requirements in DOORS.
In Git, the developers commit their work for both user stories along with some information. The information added in Git has successfully been synchronized in TeamForge. The same comment can also be viewed in DOORS.
Once the work is done for the first user story, the developer in TeamForge changes the status to “Completed.” The developer then goes back to execute the same steps for the second user story.
Changes in status are also synchronized in DOORS. Once the statuses for both user stories are changed to “Completed” in TeamForge and “Done” in DOORS, the Project Manager in TeamForge finally closes the Epic by changing its status to “Completed.”
That completes the demo. Thanks for watching.
