Black Knight is a leading provider of integrated software, data and analytics solutions that facilitate and automate several business processes across the homeownership lifecycle. Their solutions serve the mortgage lending, servicing and real estate industries, extending to capital and secondary markets.
Black Knight was looking for assistance with migration support as it transitioned from Rally to Azure DevOps. They wanted to outsource the migration project to allow their teams to focus on new innovations and product delivery. They were looking for a proven provider with technical expertise to help manage the migration project, which included a tight turnaround process. Additionally, the migration must be successfully executed with minimal business disruption, while maintaining the integrity of their existing data and audit history.
Black Knight sought to preserve the attachments and audit history from Rally, as they migrated into Azure DevOps. To minimize disruption and avoid productivity loss, it was required that the migration progress quickly, without pausing any ongoing development processes.
Delving deeper, the client requested the migration be carried out before the holidays. Using OpsHub Migration Manager, Black Knight successfully met these strict objectives and tight timeline, managing the full migration during a busy iteration cycle – and without slowing down critical business activities. Black Knight also leveraged OpsHub’s experienced Customer Support team to assist with a variety of custom mappings.
The top priority of the OpsHub customer success teams was to make sure customer issues were quickly addressed and solved in a timely manner. OpsHub’s teams were able to configure the updates in real time, resulting in high fidelity data migration – delivered in a shorter timeline.

OpsHub Migration Manager (OMM) worked closely with the Black Knight team to customize the migration project to meet their requirements. They selected data to be migrated based on three different layers of qualification: date, item type, and item whitelist. This added layer of flexibility proved to be a critical factor in the success of the entire migration project.
